Day 01 – Airport Negombo, Muthrajawela Boat Tour, Negombo Fish Market and City

The professional chauffeur will guide you from the airport to reach maximum travel temptation. The first day stay on the golden sandy beach on Negombo. Muthurajawela close destination to Negombo, one of superb wetland in Sri Lanka. Having a great boat ride on this and by watching many endemic and immigrant birds. Muthurajawela – A marshy land with highest biodiversity recorded and one of the highest density of varieties of Mangroves in Sri Lanka. Muthurajawela is a great place to observe the behaviour of Birds. Huge mangroves covered areas will add tremendous experience while on the boat journey. This is one of the best eco-sensitive area recorded in Sri Lanka.

Negombo Fish Market – A great place to observe the fishing traditions and their rituals on the shore, also it is a great place to observe the fish species around Sri Lanka this is a huge market gather more people into one place. Prawns become one of the major attraction in Negombo Fish Market.

Dutch Fort – A fort built by Dutch corner to the city still exist in a good condition and the original structure was not enough then Dutch developed the previous model and developed in a good condition. There are many things remaining in a good condition and something never missed.

Day 02 – Negombo, Yapahuwa & Anuradhapura

The destination headed to Anuradhapura a great historic site of Sri Lanka while on that stop at Yapahuwa where can find superb well prepared strategic rock fort with many stone carving. The surrounding panoramic view is truly amazing and breathtaking. While on that journey visit one of a place called “Ambalama” an old place where Ceylonese stayed at night during very limited access to transportation. The wooden pillars are made with many carvings truly amazing place to visit. Also, another destination is Padeniya Rajamaha Viharaya where can see many beautiful Buddhist Paintings with the finest way. There are many paintings remaining in this temple.

Panawitiya Ambalama – “Ambalama” a place where ancient people stayed at night or few hours for relaxation during the limited access to transportation most of the people used on foot or carts. While on that journey stay few hours or overnight at Ambalama, a temporary place to stay. There are pillars abundantly decorated and that is a truly amazing view to look at. There are many decorative pillars remaining in here.

Padeniya Rajamaha Viharaya – An ancient temple with tremendous Buddhist paintings with sculptures. The unique feature found in here is brilliant coloured frieze of Lions with four sides. There are many Buddhist painting makes an enormous feeling. A great place to grab more knowledge about the Ceylon Buddhist Culture.

Yapahuwa Rock Fort – It was one of an ancient kingdom in Ceylon and there are truly amazing stone carvings in a tremendous way. Even this was a very sacred place where Lord Buddha Tooth Relic was hidden in this place. There are many ancient ruins spread among many areas. Top of the mountain makes the more panoramic view with breathtaking moments.

Day 03 – Anuradhapura, Mihintale, Aukana, Ritigala

Next day morning after having breakfast start the journey to reach the first capital of ancient Sri Lanka called Anuradhapura. There are huge amount ancient ruins with most sacred things remaining in this ancient capital. Many ancient pagodas, Buddhist monasteries made by stone, ancient hospitals located in here. Also, there is a great civilisation with irrigation system available in here. It’s a great place to observe the ancient archaeological facts and evidence in one area. Mihinthale also one of a great place to observe the ancient civilisation and found ancient hospital over 2500 years. Aukana Buddha Statue one of sculpture made by ancient people. The final destination is Ritigala very ancient Buddhist Monastery with many ancient ruins. 

Sacred Bo Tree – According to the facts, this is the oldest tree in the world with is very sacred among Buddhist. Many people annually worship this great place. It is oldest more than 2500 years. Sacred Bo Tree located in the middle of the Anuradhapura Sacred City, there are many archaeological facts available to observe about the Sri Lankan Culture.

Ruwanwalisaya (Pagoda) - Another most sacred place of Buddhists, a pagoda built by King Dutugamunu 140 B.C with height 338ft. One of the tremendous creation of ancient Ceylonese. This pagoda located next to Sacred Bo Tree. The width circumference of 290 m. There are relics on the inside of pagoda which belongs to Lord Buddha. Samadhi Buddha Statue – Stone made Lord Buddha Statue located in Anuradhapura, a great example for ancient sculpture techniques. Day 04 – Sigiriya and Pidurangala Rock, Minneriya National Park

Straightway to Sigiriya one of the ancient kingdom with captured many ancient things such like a cave painting. The rock fort built by King Kashyapa and it is the finest creation with using natural landscape with geographical facts. First destinations is Minneriya National Park. A great location to discover about many endemic fauna and flora and that is the smallest National Park. Next destination is Sigiriya Rock Fort where find finest cave arts and then visit Pidurangala one of ancient Buddhist Monastery which located close to Sigiriya. The panoramic view at top of the rock is truly amazing. Also, there are many ancient ruins found in here.  Overnight stay at Sigiriya.

Minneriya National Park – This place is a sanctuary many Elephants as well as for many endemic with immigrant birds. This is the smallest National Park of Sri Lanka and the site is very important in archaeologically because there are many ancient ruins found in near Minneriya Lake. Even this is a great habitat for Monkeys as well.

Sigiriya Rock Fort - A magnificent architectural creation which made on two thousand years ago. There is a complex of the royal palace which made on a huge rock called “Lion Rock” There is truly amazing creation with cave paintings. Many ancient ruins found in this area and that was a well furnished fortress.  

Pidurangala Temple – A Buddhist Monastery which built by King Kashaypa there are many caves that used by Monks and many cave paintings can be seen in this place. This was a complex and many ancient ruins found in this land. Even top of the rock is a great place to feel the natural lush with an enormous feeling.

Day 05 – Namal Uyana, Dambulla Rock Temple, Matale Hindu Kovil, Kandy Temple of Tooth Relic 

Next day morning start the journey to reach Kandy while on that journey visit Dambulla Rock Temple where restored perfect cave paintings. A great location to study about the historical fact as well civilisation facts of ancient Ceylon. The next destination is Namal Uyana where can find Pink Quarts not even that this is a Buddhist Monastery over thousand years. There are many significant archaeological facts available in this great land by presenting the proud history.  After that visit Mathale Hindu Kovil which built on 1874 a great location to study about the Hindu tradition. After that final destination Kandy and visit Temple of Tooth Relic where Lord Buddha tooth relic restored safely. Overnight stay Kandy.

Namal Uyana – This is the largest Na tree forest found in Sri Lanka also this an old Buddhist Monastery which has over 2000 years. The most remarkable thing found larger pink quartz in this area. Walking through the narrow paths makes a tremendous and enormous feeling. There are many knowledge can be grabbed under many subjects because of it a combination of more tourist attraction.

Dambulla Cave Temple – One of a great place for cave paint expedition which was created in 01 Century BCE. There are a lot of cave paints well preserved. There are 153 Buddhist paintings can be found in here. Colour match is perfect on those paintings and expressions have made perfectly. Many caves consist great paints recently declared world heritage.

Mathale Hindu Kovil – A Hindu temple which was built on 1874 and most important thing is this temple used by Hindu and Buddhist as well. There are many ancient paints can be seen in this Hindu Temple and largest Gopuram of Sri Lanka found in this temple. This is something should not miss.

Temple Tooth Relic – Most sacred place of Sri Lanka where Lord Buddha Tooth Relic located in this temple. There are more interesting traditions follow since thousand years which comes generations to generation. The Golden roof has been prepared for tooth relic and there are seven reliquaries established for the protection of Lord Buddha.

Day 06 – Kandy & Knuckles

Having after breakfast starts the journey to reach Knuckles mountain range on of truly amazing and important eco-sensitive area of Sri Lanka. The trekking Knuckles mountain range will unforgettable experience because picturesque surroundings with amazing misty covered background will add more temptation to your journey. This is one of highest biodiversity area of Sri Lanka. The weather changes within a short time and sunrise is truly amazing view. Day 07 – Kandy & Mahiyanganaya

Mahiyangana is one of area Wadda community live, according to legend their society starts with Kuweni an ancestor of their people. Having breakfast early and visit Mahiyangana a close destination to Kandy. Visiting to their village is a unique experience because they demonstrate about their usual life and the strategies that they use for hunting. Also this place is a truly amazing place to grab more knowledge. They have pure honey and traditional things to be sailed. Not even that their traditional dancing event more significant event.

Day 08 – From Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

Kandy is the last ancient capital of Ceylon, the city surrounded by hill country and geographically this is a truly amazing place to spend time in tranquility. Kandy is a most sacred city where Lord Buddha Tooth Relic located. The museum is a great place to grab more knowledge. Royal Botanical Garden is a perfect place to peep the nature and feel the natural lush. There are wooden carving temple and fining of the carving truly magnificent. Also there are tremendous paintings remain in many temple. Overnight stay at Kandy.

Embakke Devalaya – It was built by King Wikramabahu III in 1357 it is a place to worship Lord Mahasen. There is a drummer’s hall which prepared in truly amazing by wooden pillars and all pillars are made with great wooden carving that expresses many emotions of the carvings. There are three parts of the devalaya and this is one of highest tourist attraction place.

Udawatta Sanctuary – A great place to peep the nature and feel the natural lush, it is a perfect place for bird watching even it will heal mind and soul by sitting around many birds singing. Also, there is a Buddhist Monastery located in one part of the jungle, it is a good place to visit and garrison cemetery one of a great place to see the colonial era cemetery.

Day 09 – Nuwara Eliya, Horton Plains, Worlds End & Ella by Train

Next destination is Nuwara Eliya where huge mountains covered in mist with superb surroundings. There are many famous tourist destinations spread in Nuwara Eliya, World’s End is one of major where finds superb natural surroundings. Hakgala Botanical Garden is one of great tremendous hotspot where can feel the natural lush. Devon waterfall is one of tremendous place to visit. Horton Plains is a great place which created by Mother Nature. Lovers Leap, Victoria Park, Aberdeen Waterfall are some of the major attractions of Nuwara Eliya. Not even that having a great boat ride at Gregory Lake will be the unforgettable experience.

Hakgala Botanical Garden – Well planned garden with the landscape are breathtaking and a great place to enjoy surroundings. The best time to visit the Hakgala Park is April to August. Rosegarden is one of the manmade creation of Hakgala Botanical Garden even Rock Garden or Water Garden pathways make more lovely temptation for visitors. According to legend, this park belongs to King Rawana. A place never missed with many breathtaking views.

Horton Plains – One of the most attractive place of Sri Lanka. This is a tremendous creation of Mother Nature where find coldest with the windiest location of Sri Lanka. Day 10 – Ella Rock, Nine Arch Bridge, Little Adam`s Peak

Hill country with superb natural surroundings is located in Ella. There are many superb breathtaking places located in here. In Ella can find pyramid shape mountain stand opposite to Ella Rock with enthusiastic surroundings. Trekking to this little Adam’s peak great mountain could attract a huge amount of travellers among the world. It is a gradually easy hike up to the top of the mountain make worth tremendous panoramic view with 360 degrees. Also, Rawana Falls, Dova Temple, Nine arch bridge are the best place can be listed. Overnight at Ella

Little Adam’s Peak – One of most attraction place of Ella that visits many tourists to enjoy the surroundings. The panoramic view is truly amazing when you reach to the top of the mountain.  Watching the sunrise at top of the mountain can’t be explained in words because it is truly magnificent. Trekking to Little Adam’s Peak will never forget you.

Ella Rock – A great trekking with a superb expedition to the top of the mountain the panoramic view superb. It is 8 km trekking with enormous feelings and it will exceed the temptation. This will be an unforgettable experience. Misty covered surroundings make a tremendous experience for you.

Nine Arch Bridge – One of most amazing creation in Colonial Era, It is world famous and the most important thing is this bridge made only solid rocks with cement and never used any iron bars. Day 11 - Ella, Rawana Water Fall, Buduruwagala Buddha Statue and Yala National Park

Next day morning start the journey to reach Tissamaharamya one of ancient sub-capital city of Sri Lanka. There are many ancient Buddhist Monasteries and Pagoda can be seen in this area. Begin of the day start journey to reach Rawana Cave and Rawana waterfall one of the prehistoric picturesque places in near Ella. Both places are breathtaking and tremendous experience can be gained.  After that visit Buduruwagala Budda Statues tremendous stone carvings which over more than 2000 years. Buduruwagala is a great place to peep great civilisation in old Ceylon. Final destination reaches to Tissamaharamaya. Overnight stay at Tissa.

Rawana Waterfall – the finest creation of Mother Nature because it is a truly amazing view to look at. There are two waterfalls called “Rawana Waterfalls”. According to the people of this area, there is a hidden waterfall is the true and accurate waterfall. This hidden waterfall can be seen to Ella Railways station. Tissamaharamaya - It is one of the main temples in Down south of Sri Lanka. This is very ancient temple one of the major monasteries established not even that Lord Buddha also visited this Buddhist Monastery with 500 Buddhist Monks. This temple was built by a rural king called Kawantissa when he ruled the southern province. Inside of the Pagoda, there is frontal bone relic with left tooth relic of Lord Budda has been kept in this Pagoda. Many ancient ruins found in this Buddhist Monasteries.

Mulkirigala Rock Temple – This ancient temple located in near Tissa, it is called rock temple “Mulkrigala” this temple was built by King Saddathissa, Many cave paintings found in many caves. Religious and Non-religious paintings. There is a very beautiful 15m long sculpture of Lord Buddha and that is one of truly amazing creation. The expressions of the statue well made. There are seven other shrines also find in this temple. The top of the mountain made a superb panoramic view and that will heal your mind as soul as well.

Galle Fort – A well preserved Dutch fort in Sri Lanka, declared World Heritage city and one of great tourist attraction in Sri Lanka. Wooden or Masonry pillars with colonial buildings make more amazing feeling to the visitors. There are many museums located in Galle Fort for grabbing more knowledge. Day 13 – Mirissa Whale Watching, Stilt Fishing, Koggala Boat Safari 

Early in the morning visit Mirissa fort for having tremendous Whale Watching tour there are many Blue whales can be seen in near Dondra Point. After that start journey spends time to visit Stilt fishermen one of tradition fishing method Sri Lanka. Visit Cinnamon Island with a boat ride at Koggala Lake. Even visit the Galle Fort one of tremendous well preserved Dutch fort in Galle. Whale watching – The journey starts from Mirissa Fishery Harbor usually 9-15 natural miles travel during one journey. Day 14 – Hikkaduwa Beach, Moonstone Mine, Mask Making 

The day begins on Hikkaduwa one of finest and highest tourist attraction with blended of joy. There is one of superb surfing point and vast spread coral sanctuary is the most attractive thing. There is a great opportunity to attend many water sports activities such as surfing, Jet Ski, banana boat ride, wakeboarding can be listed as few, not even that moonstone mine which is located near Hikkaduwa.
